The offenders, identified as Ibrahim Yusuf (30), Kabiru Abubakar (15), and Easter Sunday (21), were apprehended for illegally dumping waste on road medians after the night's trading activities. ADF terrorists have killed at least 21 people since Tuesday in isolated villages on the border between the provinces of Ituri and North Kivu, and at least 15 people in an attack in Biakato town, in Ituri, they told AFP. The mineral-rich eastern DRC has been plagued for three decades by conflict involving various armed groups, militia and army troops.
