ABSU Student Reports Assault by Police Officers at Uturu Road Checkpoint A nursing student at Abia State University (ABSU) in Uturu has reported being assaulted by police officers during a vehicle stop at a checkpoint along Uturu Road on May 9, 2026.  According to the student, identified on social media as Buddy Jnr, the incident occurred around 2:31 p.m. while he was traveling in a minibus.
