 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members.  Two women linked to viral firearm video arrested 🚔  


Police have arrested two women who were allegedly seen handling firearms in a viral video circulated on social media.  


According to reports, officers traced the suspects after they were spotted travelling in a white VW Polo in the Ebony Park area, Midrand. The vehicle was later intercepted in Kaalfontein.  


Both women were taken to Tembisa South SAPS for questioning as investigations continue into the alleged unlawful handling of firearms.  


The arrests come shortly after SAPS warned the public against the reckless handling and display of firearms on social media platforms.
