 In a bold move to address Japan’s deepening demographic crisis, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has introduced a four-day workweek for its employees.  This initiative is aimed at promoting work-life balance and encouraging higher birth rates, particularly as Japan faces a declining population and ageing society. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike announced the policy as part of broader reforms to support working parents and modernize employment practices in the face of long-standing gender inequality and falling fertility rates. Alongside the shorter workweek, the government has also launched a “childcare partial leave” scheme. Under this policy, working parents can reduce their daily working hours by two, offering greater flexibility in managing childcare responsibilities. THE U.N NIGERIAN SOLDIER,WHO TESTED POSITIVE TO EBOLA,IS NOW CURED IN THE NETHERLANDS.

                                              According to a statement made by the Dutch public health institute RIVM said ''The Nigerian patient who was admitted on December 6 has been cured of Ebola''.The soldier was infected while working as a peacekeeper battling the deadly Ebola disease in Liberia.He was flown to the Netherlands at the request of the World Health Organisation {WHO} in a special equipped plane and treated at the university hospital in central city Utrecht.He was the first Ebola patient to be treated in the Netherlands and will stay at a military hospital until he can return home.We thank God for him.
