 Somali PM calls on Somaliland to cut Israel ties, urges reconciliation Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called on Somaliland’s leadership to cut ties with Israel and to resolve disputes with the federal government through dialogue. Barre said relations among Somalis should be addressed through talks rather than confrontation, in remarks during a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the establishment of North East State. In December 2025, Israel announced mutual recognition with Somaliland, a move strongly rejected by the Somali government as a breach of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and criticised by many countries across the world. “Regarding our brothers in Somaliland, I have nothing new to say. PORT HARCOURT ORPHANAGES COMMEND EFCC ON CSR.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

Executive Directors of Mercy & Praise Orphanage Home and Saviour's Charity Home, both in Rumuokoro, Port Harcourt, Rivers State: Mrs Chioma Nwankwo and Miss Joy Isaac, have commended the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the EFCC, for visiting and donating relief materials to them as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR.  

According to Nwankwo, the relief materials donated to the Orphanages signaled the benevolence and care for the less privileged people by the EFCC. "If other agencies and organizations follow your footsteps, we will not be in lack. May God bless you and protect you back to your destination in Jesus' name". One more photo below.
