  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. JAMAICA WANT TO START BUYING CARS FROM INNOSON. (PHOTOS).

Jamaica has said that it wants to buy cars from Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing.


Esmond Reid, the Jamaican High Commissioner to Nigeria, talked about this plan on Saturday during a tour of the IVM plant in Nnewi, Anambra State.


He said, “For us, it’s a great chance to see cars being made here in Nigeria, which is one of our southern brothers.


“It is also a chance to be able to discuss commercial opportunities for sourcing vehicles from Nigeria.


“This is my first visit. I will go and consult with my stakeholders back home to look at the timeline and determine the negotiations and engagements and when we will start the business of sourcing the vehicles.”
