 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Gov Nwifuru approves payment of 25 years pension arrears in Ebonyi

Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the governor of Ebonyi State, has given his approval for the payment of pension arrears owed to retirees in the state from 1996 to 2021.

During the state Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, this was decided.

The Council also set up a committee to work out these pensions and gratuities for immediate payment.

The committee will be chaired by Prof.(Mrs.) Adeline Idike.

Recall that the governor, had last month approved a N10,000 salary increment for all civil servants in Ebonyi and the employment of 1,454 people into the state civil service.
