 Ogun cracks down on criminals, lights up Sagamu Interchange, clears shanties As part of efforts to make the Sagamu Interchange and its environs a no-go area for criminals, the Ogun State Government has provided illumination at the under-bridge area along the Lagos - Ibadan Expressway and subsequently at the four intersections of the Interchange. The Ogun State Government, which took this step after clearing the illegal shanties, shops and stalls in the area in order to deprive criminals of a cover in the area, undertook adequate illumination of the area through solar street lights. Recently, the State Government, in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Hon Kayode Akinmade, had said that it was fully apprised of the situation in the area and would never allow criminals to continue to launch attacks on innocent citizens. ANOTHER VIDEO OF BULLYING AT LEAD BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SURFACES ONLINE.(PHOTO).

  Another video of bullying at Lead British International School  surfaces online. 


A video of boy being bullied by other students at the Lead British International School, Abuja has surfaced online.

 

In the new video shared online, some male students in the school’s uniform can be seen surrounding another boy on his knees. As he stood on his feet, he was slapped on the head before he was whisked away in the nine-second video.

This is coming after an initial video of a female student slapping a fellow female student went viral this morning.

 

The school has since been shut down for 3 days, by authorities after heavy outrage from Nigerians online.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
