FG SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH CREATIVE INDUSTRY ON NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the creative industry to promote national development and public awareness.

In a statement, the Head of Press and Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior, Mary Ali, says the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, stated this during a courtesy visit by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, and his delegation in Abuja.

The Minister says collaboration with the creative industry will help deepen public understanding of government policies, counter misinformation, and promote national unity.

Tunji-Ojo highlights ongoing reforms across agencies under the Ministry, including correctional services, noting a significant decline in repeat offenders as a result of rehabilitation programmes.

The statement adds that both parties expressed commitment to working together in support of national development and a safer Nigeria.
