 Melania Trump skipped Don Jr.'s wedding to avoid spending time with Donald's adult children from previous marriages: 'Tension has existed for years'


Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding to Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas drew attention not only for its intimate guest list of 50 but also for the notable absences of Melania Trump, Barron Trump, and President Donald Trump himself. 


While no official explanation was given for Melania and Barron’s absence, insiders claimed Melania deliberately chose not to attend to avoid spending the weekend with Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, citing long-standing family tensions. 


Barron, meanwhile, was said to have weaker personal ties with his older half-siblings, having grown up in a different environment.


Observers have often pointed to a competitive dynamic between Melania and Ivanka, particularly during Trump’s first administration, when Ivanka took on highly visible roles that sometimes overshadowed Melania’s more private approach. 


This backdrop fueled speculation about Melania’s decision to skip the wedding, despite her public statements about treating her stepchildren with “love and respect.” 


The absence of both Melania and Barron added to the intrigue surrounding the family’s relationships.


President Trump explained his own absence by citing pressing government duties and international tensions with Iran, saying the timing was not right for him to attend. 


His reasoning, however, was met with skepticism after reports surfaced that he planned to attend an NBA Finals game shortly afterward. 


Meanwhile, Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany were present at the ceremony and shared celebratory photos, underscoring the divide within the family during what should have been a unifying occasion.
