 Trial begins of Central African ex-president Bozize over war crimes A UN-backed court in the the Central African Republic will on Tuesday begin the trial in absentia of former president Francois Bozize, over crimes against humanity committed between 2009 and 2013. The alleged crimes committed by members of Bozize's security forces include murder, enforced disappearance, torture and rape. Bozize, 79, who seized power in a 2003 coup before being overthrown 10 years later by rebels, has been living in exile in Guinea-Bissau since March 2023. But three of his former senior military officers, Eugene Barret Ngaikosset, Vianney Semndiro and Firmin Junior Danboy, are all in pre-trial detention in the Central African Republic. Crimes against humanity The case will be heard by the Special Criminal Court (SCC), a hybrid jurisdiction located in the capital Bangui with Central African and foreign judges.  GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI INAUGURATES THE ELECTED 17 LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN (MAYORS) AND THEIR DEPUTIES. 


The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti inaugurated the Newly Elected Executive Chairmen (Mayor) of the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State and their Deputies at the Banquet Hall of Abia State Government House. Governor Otti was joined by his Wife and the First Lady of the State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Priscilla Otti. 


The Oath of Office and Allegiance was administered by the State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Paul Ogubunka Esq.


The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by the Secretary-General of Ohanaze Ndi Igbo, Amb. Okey Emuchay (MFR), the second Deputy chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM. Eze Nelson Nmerengwa, Member Representing Isialangwa North-South Federal Constituency, Members of Abia State House of Assembly led by the Deputy Speaker, all members of the State Executive Council, High Profile Government Appointees and Bar. Ken Ahia (SAN).


The list of inaugurated Chairmen (Mayors) and their Deputies is attached herewith.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
