Limpopo police have arrested two undocumented foreign national men for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle and contravening the Immigration Act.
On Thursday, 06 March 2025, at around 20:45, Provincial Flying Squad officers received a report about a stolen Silver Suzuki seven-seater, taken from a female victim in Polokwane CBD earlier that evening.
With the help of a tracking company, police traced the vehicle to Mahwelereng Zone 02, Waterberg District. Upon arrival, they found two men inside the car, who failed to provide ownership documents or a valid explanation for the vehicle's origin.
Investigations revealed that the suspects, aged 37 and 51, were in the country illegally and allegedly planned to drive the vehicle to Gauteng. They were arrested, and the vehicle was seized.
The duo is set to appear before the Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court on 10 March 2025.
