 Police Arrest Suspect with R1.75 Million Cash at Stockport Border Post


Police have arrested a 24-year-old man at the Stockport border post after R1.75 million in undeclared cash was found hidden in the boot of a rented vehicle he was driving.


The suspect was stopped while trying to cross into Botswana. According to police, initial investigations point to possible money laundering.


He is expected to appear in the Lephalale Magistrate’s Court today facing a charge of money laundering.
