Soludo Issues 7-Day Ultimatum to Owners of Illegal Structures in Onitsha South Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to owners of illegal structures in Onitsha South Local Government Area to present valid building approvals and land ownership documents. The directive targets structures erected without authorization on government-owned land, including buildings constructed along waterways. According to the state government, such developments obstruct natural drainage channels, contributing to recurrent flooding and severe environmental degradation in the area. Governor Soludo emphasized that the exercise is part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to enforce urban planning regulations, protect the environment, and ensure public safety.
