32-year-old Hannah Lebel was operating a UTV with four juvenile passengers at the Jim Creek Recreation area on June 18th.
According to reports, Hannah told troopers that she had driven through water to "spray the children".
However, her last pass through the water would prove fatal. According to witnesses, a child could be heard warning Hannah that they were going too fast .
Witnesses estimated her speed at approximately 15 to 20 mph when the UTV tipped and rolled onto its roof.
Bystanders rushed in to help and quickly found Hannah's 10-year-old daughter unresponsive. Life-saving measures were immediately began by bystanders and taken over by first responders. Sadly, the young victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The three other juveniles, which consisted of Hannah's other child and two family friends, were all treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers noted signs of impairment while questioning Hannah. She admitted to Troopers she had consumed alcohol before the crash.
Hannah Lebel was arrested and is being charged with three counts of third-degree @ssault, three counts of fourth-degree @ssault, criminally negligent homicide, manslaughter and driving under the influnce.
