 Lionel Richie Ends St Paul Concert Early After Feeling Unwell On Stage Lionel Richie ended the opening night of his tour early after feeling unwell during a performance in St Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday, June 24. The 77 year old was about 55 minutes into the show at Grand Casino Arena when he paused while performing “Dancing on the Ceiling” and sat down on a stage platform. He told the audience he was feeling dizzy. Richie continued the set by moving to the piano to perform “Three Times a Lady” while seated, before taking an unscheduled break from the performance. His band remained on stage for a short period as recorded music played, before also leaving the stage during the pause. After around 40 minutes, saxophonist Dino Soldo informed the audience that Richie was unwell and would not be returning to complete the concert.  ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND INVESTIGATES ALLEGED CHILD TRAFFICKING INCIDENT, RESCUES FEMALE SUSPECT FROM MOB ACTION


The Anambra State Police Command has commenced an investigation into an alleged child trafficking incident following the rescue of a female suspect Anurika Nweme aged 37 years 

from an angry mob by Police Operatives attached to Awada Divisional Headquarters at Divine Mercy Hospital, Eze Iweka Road, Awada, Obosi.


According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect in the afternoon of 23rd June 2026 allegedly gained access to the hospital premises disguised in attire resembling that of a nurse and was observed making secret video recordings of newborn babies in the maternity ward. When questioned by hospital staff and other persons present, she reportedly claimed to be an employee of the hospital. However, upon verification, the management of the Hospital confirmed that she was not a member of its staff.


The suspect is currently in protective custody and assisting the investigating police officers in identifying others involved. 


Further developments on the investigation will be communicated as they unfold.
