 Lionel Richie Ends St Paul Concert Early After Feeling Unwell On Stage Lionel Richie ended the opening night of his tour early after feeling unwell during a performance in St Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday, June 24. The 77 year old was about 55 minutes into the show at Grand Casino Arena when he paused while performing “Dancing on the Ceiling” and sat down on a stage platform. He told the audience he was feeling dizzy. Richie continued the set by moving to the piano to perform “Three Times a Lady” while seated, before taking an unscheduled break from the performance. His band remained on stage for a short period as recorded music played, before also leaving the stage during the pause. After around 40 minutes, saxophonist Dino Soldo informed the audience that Richie was unwell and would not be returning to complete the concert.  KEBBI APC SUSPENDS STATE AND ZURU LG CHAIRMEN, STATE GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS LIVESTOCK COMMISSIONER


The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended its State Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana-Zuru, and the party's Chairman in Zuru Local Government Area, Aliyu Abubakar Abiola, over alleged party infractions.


A statement signed by the State Party Secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad Kimba, said the action followed complaints from stakeholders and an internal review by the party.


Meanwhile, the Kebbi State Government has suspended the Commissioner for Livestock Development and Fisheries, Kabir Usman Alaramma Zuru, with immediate effect pending further notice.


A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Yakubu Bala Tafida, said the commissioner is to hand over his official responsibilities to the Permanent Secretary of the ministry pending further action.
