  Several Injured as Suspected Bandits Ambush Sunday Igboho’s Security Team in Oyo Forest Several operatives of a private security network linked to Yoruba Nation campaigner Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, were injured after suspected cross-border bandits ambushed them during an anti-crime operation in the Old Oyo National Park. The incident occurred while members of the Iru Ekun security outfit — associated with Igboho — were conducting a mission to track and dislodge suspected kidnappers and other armed criminal elements operating within the expansive forest reserve. According to sources familiar with the operation, the team had deployed surveillance drones to identify criminal hideouts and monitor the movement of armed groups before advancing into the area. The mission, however, turned violent when the operatives came under heavy gunfire from suspected bandits believed to be part of cross-border criminal networks. Prince Harry is reportedly planning to take his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to visit Princess Diana’s grave at Althorp House during their July trip to the UK. The Duke of Sussex has often spoken about the lasting influence of his late mother, and sources say this visit is meant to help his children feel connected to the grandmother they never met. 


Diana is buried on a private island within the estate’s Oval Lake, a location chosen to ensure privacy and safety. Her brother, Charles Spencer, has long emphasized that the site was intended to give William and Harry a place to visit away from public scrutiny.


While Harry’s intentions are seen as heartfelt, Meghan Markle’s presence has drawn skepticism from critics. Some royal commentators argue that Diana’s memory has occasionally been used as part of Meghan’s public image, raising concerns that a deeply personal family moment could be overshadowed by media narratives.


 Insiders stress that the issue is not Harry’s motives, which are understood and respected, but whether the visit remains private or becomes part of the broader public conversation surrounding the Sussexes.


The trip may also include reconciliation with King Charles, who has reportedly offered the family security and a royal residence during their stay. 


Althorp House, which is usually open to the public between Diana’s birth and death anniversaries, will be closed on July 10 and 11, fueling speculation that the closure is linked to the Sussexes’ visit. 


Alongside the emotional significance of honoring Diana, the visit could mark an important moment in Harry’s relationship with his father and the wider royal family.
