KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. PRP Rejects Claims of Kwankwaso Buying 69 Nomination Forms to Seize Party, Dismisses Allegations as Baseless

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has strongly denied allegations that former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, purchased 69 nomination forms to seize control of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The claims were made by Abdulkadir Musa Giza, who identified himself as chairman of the North-West Stakeholders Forum of the PRP. Giza had alleged that Kwankwaso had taken over the party's structure.

However, PRP National Secretary, Alhaji Musa Maigari, described the allegations as false and misleading while speaking to journalists on Monday.

“Kwankwaso neither purchased any nomination forms nor has any official connection with the party,” Maigari stated.

He emphasised that the party’s internal processes are complete, saying: “As it stands, all positions in PRP have been filled. Primary elections are over, and every political party has concluded its primaries.”

Maigari questioned the credibility of the accuser, noting that Giza is not a member of the PRP. “It is laughable at this time, when primaries are over, someone is talking about primaries or nomination forms,” he added.

The PRP secretary further clarified that the so-called North-West Stakeholders Forum is not recognised by the party and insisted there is no record of Kwankwaso or any of his representatives purchasing nomination forms.

He described the timing of the allegation as suspicious, coming after the party had already concluded its primary elections for the next electoral cycle.

Maigari urged members of the public to disregard the rumours and rely solely on official information from the party’s authorised channels.
