Outrage as DJ Chicken Faces Intense Backlash Over Disturbing Threat to Seyi Tinubu in Viral .

The Spark of Controversy

Controversial Nigerian street entertainer and disc jockey, Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has once again found himself at the center of a raging storm. This time, his antics have crossed a line for many, sparking widespread outrage across social media platforms after he directed a disturbing threat at Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.

In the now-deleted video, which originally aired during an Instagram live session, DJ Chicken was spotted donning traditional garb, complete with a white shawl and beaded necklaces. Amidst his usual chaotic energy, his commentary took a dark turn as he boldly asserted that President Tinubu would not secure a second term, before issuing an unsettling and direct threat targeted at the president's son, Seyi.

Outrage and Calls for Arrest

The video spread like wildfire across platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, drawing immediate condemnation from Nigerians. Many netizens labeled the entertainer's remarks as reckless, illegal, and highly dangerous, with several calling on security agencies to arrest him immediately to deter others from making similar threats against public figures and their families.

While the video has since been taken down from his official page, the digital footprint remains. Critics argue that free speech does not cover direct threats to life and safety, urging the police to take swift action.

Silence from the Presidency

As of the time of writing, there has been no official statement from the Tinubu family, the presidency, or law enforcement agencies regarding the viral video. However, given the gravity of the threats, industry observers believe it may only be a matter of time before security officials step in.

This is not the first time DJ Chicken has made headlines for the wrong reasons. The social media personality, who recently had his legal team deny rumors of his involvement in a severe road traffic accident, is notorious for his unfiltered and often volatile online presence. Whether he will escape the consequences of his latest outburst remains to be seen.
