 Charlie Kirk's Widow Attends Court Hearing for Suspect in Fatal Shooting  Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, attended the preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing her husband, appearing in court for the first time since the fatal shooting nearly 10 months ago. Erika, 37, was joined by Charlie Kirk's parents at the hearing on Monday, July 6, as proceedings began against Tyler Robinson, the 23-year-old charged in connection with Kirk's death at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. According to the Associated Press, Donald Trump Jr. was also present in court, while Robinson's parents were seated a few rows behind the Kirk family. At the start of the hearing, the judge acknowledged the emotional nature of the case and asked those in attendance to maintain order and avoid displaying support or opposition toward either side. POLICE RECOVER STOLEN VECTRA OPEL, ARREST 3 SUSPECTS IN BAUCHI/GOMBE


Detectives of the Bauchi State Police Command have recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested three suspects in connection with the theft.


According to a situation report, on 29th June, 2026, the Command received a distress call from a good Samaritan reporting that an unknown person(s) had stolen a green Vectra Opel with registration number AH 232 AKK, belonging to one Mr.  Mu’azu, a resident of Katsinawa Village, Jos Road, Bauchi.


Acting on the information, the DPO ‘E’ Division promptly mobilised his team and intercepted the said vehicle around Dorawan Dillalai. One suspect was arrested and the vehicle recovered.


In a follow-up operation, detectives from the Area Command proceeded to Gombe State where they arrested two additional suspects: Abubakar Musa ‘m’, 46-years'old, and Usman Abubakar ‘m’, 30-years-old, who were allegedly negotiating to purchase the stolen vehicle.


The suspects have confessed to the crimes and revealed that this is not the first time they committed such offence. 


Furthermore, investigation is ongoing and all suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+), commended the swift response of the operatives and the member of the public who provided timely information. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to clamping down on vehicle theft and other related crimes in the State.
