CATHOLIC Church is meeting to discuss how to stop vote rigging. There will be no stealing of votes.
The Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) is meeting in Lusaka ahead of Zambia’s presidential, parliamentary and Local Government elections to be held on Thursday, August 13th 2026.
The ZCCB earlier convened for a joint ecclesiastical assembly. Rather than a standalone plenary, this latest meeting was a collaborative gathering held alongside the Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) and the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ).
This is to advocate for and secure a commitment toward peaceful, credible, transparent, inclusive, free and fair upcoming 2026 General Elections across.
