 NAF GETS FIRST-EVER SERVING PROFESSOR, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO R&D AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE In a landmark achievement for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and a major boost to its research and development (R&D) endeavours, the Governing Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike as Professor of Aerospace Engineering. This makes him the first-ever serving officer in the NAF to be conferred the rank of Professor. Air Vice Marshal Ubadike, an accomplished scholar and military professional, holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the esteemed Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also possesses 3 other Masters degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with a First-Class Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering degree from NDA. Trump's New Hairstyle Sparks Online Buzz


US President-elect Donald Trump's apparent new hairstyle during his recent visit to Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, has created a buzz online.


Trump was spotted at the golf club on Tuesday evening wearing a white golf shirt, black pants, a red hat, and shoes. A video circulating on social media shows Trump walking and approaching visitors, waving his hands and asking if they are enjoying themselves. He further asks, "Is everybody a Republican?"


Trump's hair appeared different in the video, leading some to believe he had a new haircut, sparking online discussions. While some praised Trump for his apparent new hairstyle, others said the president-elect had lost his charm.

His new style has drawn comparisons to that of his youngest son Barron Trump.

Some also said the 78-year-old's 'do could be a simple case of "hat hair."

Overall, the hairstyle got a mixed reception.

"Trump cut his hair and now he looks like an angry grandpa at a country club," one user wrote on X.

"He also seems to be going easy on the orange."

Another user compared him to Buzz McCallister, the older brother of Macaulay Culkin's character in the Home Alone franchise.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
