 Andrew Tate claims he is 'forced to drink poison water' while crying from cell

Andrew Tate has alleged that he is being forced to drink contaminated water while held in solitary confinement following his arrest in Miami. The 39‑year‑old influencer and his brother Tristan were taken into custody on July 18 at a bare‑knuckle boxing event, after Romania lifted a travel ban connected to their 2022 arrests. 

U.S. federal complaints reveal the brothers face extradition to the U.K. on dozens of charges, including rape, sex trafficking, and possession of indecent images of a child. Their attorney, Joseph McBride, has argued that the charges are politically motivated and described their detention conditions as extreme.

Tate has continued to post updates to his millions of followers, claiming he is housed in a special housing unit where his faucet is broken and bottled water is prohibited. He wrote that his only source of water is from a dirty shower faucet, which he says has caused stomach problems. 

In his words, he is “forced to drink poisoned water” despite being “innocent until proven guilty.” His posts have painted a picture of harsh confinement, with no commissary, phone calls, or yard time, conditions he insists are meant for violent offenders rather than extradition detainees.

Meanwhile, investigations into the brothers have expanded in the United States, with the Florida Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security reportedly involved, though no state charges have yet been filed. 

The U.K. has brought a total of 59 charges against them, and both remain in custody as they fight extradition. 

Tate’s online updates continue to fuel debate, with supporters echoing his claims of mistreatment and critics pointing to his long history of controversial behavior and legal troubles.
