The tension between Trump and James is longstanding. Back in 2018, James criticized Trump, saying he didn’t care about the American people and describing his rhetoric as both laughable and frightening.  He urged fans and communities to resist normalizing Trump’s behavior, emphasizing the importance of calling out harmful speech. Trump, in turn, l...

The 67-year-old from Southampton, Hampshire, developed a fear of flying after what she described as a frightening first flight from Budapest while she was a student. She said the experience left her believing future flights could end in a crash. Her fear continued for years. In 2006, Adamson tried to avoid a family trip to Orlando, Florida, by hiding her passport inside a magazine at the airport. However, staff arranged a replacement ticket, leaving her with no choice but to board the plane. She recalled spending the three-hour flight crying. By 2008, Adamson decided she could no longer handle flying and stopped traveling by air completely. The change came last year when she began learning more about aviation fro...

I WAS HARASSED AT THE OSUBI AIRPORT WHILE TAKING AN 11.45AM UNITED NIGERIA AIRLINES FLIGHT FROM WARRI TO ABUJA- PROGRESS OBERIKO.(VIDEO/PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE

Image
On 22nd July 2026–just two days ago, I had what I’d describe as the worst airport experience of my life. I was harassed at the Osubi Airport while taking an 11.45am United Nigeria Airlines Flight from Warri to Abuja. I have since filed formal complaints with Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN)MMIA and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority,Abuja (NCAA) because what happened should concern every Nigerian who flies. I’m sharing this for three reasons:     1. The FAAN staff member said that others were cooperating except me, so apparently, they’re used to people not speaking up(or maybe they only do it to certain people), but the fact that people are silent about it doesn’t make it right.     2. Secondly, my family members have been extorted through this same process at this Osubi airport     3. Nigeria is the way it is because, most times, people don’t speak up, and even those who do don’t formally file a report or ensure that such a misnomer is checke...

STANDARD BANK CEO WARNS: CLOSING THE DOOR ON MIGRANTS WILL COST SOUTH AFRICA Standard Bank Group CEO Sim Tshabalala has warned South Africa against clamping down hard on migration, saying it could badly damage the economy. Speaking at the Kgalema Motlanthe Foundation Winter Seminar in Johannesburg, Tshabalala said migrants are not just "job takers" they are consumers, taxpayers, entrepreneurs and investors who keep the economy moving. They rent homes, use transport, start businesses, and buy goods and services every single day. He used Brexit as a warning sign. When the UK cut itself off from free movement with Europe, the results were painful: GDP dropped by 6-8%, investment fell by 13%, and unemployment rose by about 4% compared to if Britain had stayed in the EU. His message: shutting the door on migrants may sound good politically, but the numbers show it backfires economically. This comes as South Africa reviews its immigration laws, and while anti-foreigner sentiment an...
