WHEN A MOTHER IS INFORMED THAT A 26-YEAR-OLD MAN IMPREGNATED AND S/A'ED HER 13-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER, SHE DID THE ABSOLUTE UNTHINKABLE. (PHOTO).

 When a mother is informed that a 26-year-old man impregnated and S/A'ed her 13-year-old daughter, she did the absolute unthinkable. 

Instead of calling the police, she accepted cash, the use of the @busers vehicle, and tickets to sporting events in exchange for her silence. Not only did she remain silent, she also allowed the man to continue S/A'ing her little girl. 

Kendrell Bowden's daughter moved in with 26-year-old Dawson Brown and his parents, Michael and Sabrina Brown, in the autumn of 2025, according to authorities. 

People in the community have shared the young girl moved into the family's Poplarville, Mississippi home, before the fall of 2025.

It has not been publicly released precisely why the young girl moved in with the family, but, authorities have stated that the young girl and her mother attended the New Heights/College Heights Baptist Church where Michael Brown happened to be the pastor. 

In October-November 2025, very shortly after moving in with the Brown family, the 13-year-old girl became pregnant by Dawson Brown, who was 26-years-old at the time. He is now 27, and the victim is 14. Community members have reached out and stated that the young girl had been in Dawson's life since she was 12. 

When Dawson learned the young girl was pregnant with his child, Dawson stated that he told the victim's mother, Kendrell Bowden, that he had impregnated her young daughter. He asked for her silence and she quickly agreed. 

Not only did the victim's mother not call law enforcement or try to help her daughter at all, she accepted cash and other favors in exchange for Dawson to continue to have unlimited access to her daughter. She promised to not tell anyone who impregnated her young daughter and she frequently asked for favors and cash. 

As if ALL of that wasn't horrible enough, Dawson's father and mother also did not step in to protect this pregnant 13-year-old in their care. Sabrina, Dawson's mother, knew that her son impregnated the young girl. Instead of helping the young girl, Sabrina supported and assisted her adult son Dawson's abhorrent actions. Dawson's parents planned and allegedly held a baby shower for the pregnant minor. The baby shower in question was reportedly held at Pastor Michael Brown's church.

At first, there were just rumors and whispers in the community about the pastor's adult son, Dawson, being the father. Now, that baby shower is an active part of the authorities ongoing criminal investigation. The baby shower reportedly stunned community members who had heard that the 14-year-old became pregnant by the pastor's adult son. 

Following the alleged baby shower, on June 30th, an anonymous call was made to the Mississippi Department of Child Protective Services (MDCPS). The anonymous tipster reported that the 14-year-old girl was pregnant with Dawson's child. The MDCPS forwarded an immediate referral to the Pearl River County Sheriff's Office which began a criminal investigation.

In early July, authorities looked at Dawson's phone as well as the victim's phone. They found explicit videos and images of him S/A'ing the victim from ages 13 to 14. They also found a text message where Dawson asked the victim's mother if he needed to "leave the country or not" because he realized people were talking about him being the father. 

Countless texts revealed the young girl was being tr@fficked by her mother to Dawson Brown. 

The digital evidence also showed that Sabrina Brown, Dawson's mother, coached the minor girl on how to fabricate and submit false DNA to mislead police. 

CHARGES- 

*On July 17th, Dawson Brown was arrested on a felony warrant. He is charged with statutory r***, human tra*****ing and two counts of s***** battery. His mother, Sabrina Brown, was arrested on charges of felony child neglect and evidence tampering. The evidence tampering charge is due to her trying to delete text records where she was coaching the minor on how to mislead police. 

*Kendrell Bowden is charged with felony human tra*****ing, and felony contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child. 

Michael Brown has not been charged with anything, although his name was reportedly found reoccurring in the digital evidence, including texts.

The New Heights Baptist Church, where Dawson's father is the pastor, scrubbed and deleted their public social media page just this last Wednesday, July 22nd. Someone scrubbed the page after the media began reporting on Dawson and Sabrina Brown's actions. 

On Thursday, the 23rd, Dawson Brown was denied bond. The courts consider him a severe flight risk after discovering the text where he explicitly asked the victim's mother if he "needed to leave the country". He remains in custody at the Lenoir Rowell Criminal Justice Center in Pearl River County, Mississippi. 

Sabrina Brown was released on a $10,000 bond. 

It has not been publicly announced if Michael Brown knew that Dawson was the father of the young girl's child that lived under his roof. But authorities have stated the investigation is ongoing.
