 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. APC MEMBERSHIP REGISTER BURNED BY THUGS IN ENUGU.

    According to sources,the armed PDP thugs ambbushed the APC members and carried out the register,poured petrol on it and set it ablaze.APC supervisor,Ebueagu Festus Okafor,spoke with the press at Ninth mile police station said the armed thugs were led by one Isaac Nwoye.''They stormed the building,surprisingly,one of them broke a bottle on the table and threatened to stab me,but i ran away and everybody ran for safety as they were many in number,holding various dangerious weapons,we haste to run,as we are not prepared to fight back.When i came out,one of them rushed me,i called him by name and i said to hi,so you are the person that came here to harrass and kidnap people? he asked me,why are you here? are you part of these people?.He said the registration of APC ended yesterday so what are they doing here? two men just attacked me from from behin,i started shouting the name of Isaac Nwoye for people around to hear his name so,even if i die,they will know he is the one''.He also said the PDP hoodlums packed the registration materials into Nwoye's SUV and drove off.This is very serious.
