INEC Assures Nigerians Every Valid Vote Will Count in 2027 Elections The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured Nigerians that every valid vote will count in the 2027 general elections, pledging a credible process that reflects the will of the people. The assurance was given on Thursday by Dr Adejumo Peter, Head of Voter Education and Publicity at INEC Kwara State, during a seminar organised by the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ilorin. Dr Peter said the electoral body would strictly adhere to its rules and procedures to ensure free, fair and credible elections based on the principle of one person, one vote. “INEC in Kwara will follow the rules and procedures as laid down by our commission. We will ensure that the elections are done on a one-man, one-vote basis. At the end of the exercise, the outcome of the elections will reflect the will of the people,” he said.  I’m 31-year-old, I want peace – Davido replies trolling fan


Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has declared peace emphasising that he is just 31 years old.

This is coming after a fan trolled him for promoting his counterpart Wizkid’s incoming music on his social platforms.

Recalls that the two heavyweights in the Nigerian music scene recently got together at a club, where they had a lot of fun and acted like best friends.

Their meeting has elicited ecstasy among fans of both singers, who had been feuding for some time.

To strengthen their friendship, Davido promoted Wizkid’s song.

He tweeted: “New wiz Friday!!! Wtf!!! Replay ALL WEEKEND!!”

This sparked mixed reactions from his fans. Notably, one fan, @@DaddyZee01 wrote: “Davido u dey gba fr.”

Davido replied: “YOUR FATHER DEY GBA … NAH U KNOW IM 31 YEARS OLD … I WANT PEACE”
