Group Condemns Brutal Killings, Abductions In Adara Communities, Seeks Government Action

The Adara Youth Congress (AYC) has issued a heartfelt condemnation of the continued attacks on Adara communities by terrorists.

In a press release signed by its Public Relations Officer, Ishaya Onnusim, sent to Newsmen on Friday, the AYC expressed pain and despair over the merciless slaughter of Adara people, with not a single community spared from the bloodshed.

The latest attack reportedly occurred in Gefe community, Kajuru LGA, where the Village Chief, Mr. Emmanuel Dangaladima, and a young Igbo man, Mr. Eze Paska, were brutally killed.

Sixteen others were abducted, and numerous houses were demolished.

The AYC described the Adara nation as being under siege, with communities torn apart and people massacred.

They called on the government, security agencies, and well-meaning Nigerians to stand with them in this time of grief and terror, demanding immediate and decisive action to protect their communities and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The AYC also requested prayers and God's intervention, saying, "Only He can save us from the terror that has engulfed our land."

The statement reads, "It is with a heavy heart that I, on behalf of the Adara Youth Congress (AYC), cry out in pain and despair for our beloved Adara people, who are being slaughtered mercilessly by Fulani terrorists every single day. Not a single Adara community has been spared from the bloodshed and horror that these terrorists have unleashed upon our nation.

"This morning, the terror continued unabated in Gefe community, under Kallah District in Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State. Our dear Village Chief, Mr. Emmanuel Dangaladima (Agom Ana-Gefe), was brutally shot dead, his life taken in an instant. His leadership and wisdom, which guided our people, have been stolen from us, leaving a void that can never be filled.

"The violence did not end there. Mr. Eze Paska, a young Igbo man who had settled in our community with his family, seeking peace and prosperity, was also killed in cold blood. His life was tragically cut short simply because he chose to live among us. In a further act of cruelty, his beloved wife was abducted by these heartless killers.

"Sixteen (16) other innocent and defenseless Adara people were also abducted, taken to an unknown location by these terrorists.

"The Barga community in Awon Ward, Kachia LGA, Kaduna was invaded last night. Many residents, including the village chief (Agom Barga), were kidnapped. Numerous houses were demolished, and properties were looted.

"The Adara nation is under siege. Our communities are being torn apart, our people are being massacred, and our hearts are breaking. This relentless horror cannot continue. We need prayers, we need God's intervention, for only He can save us from the terror that has engulfed our land.

"We, the Adara Youth Congress, call on the government, security agencies, and all well-meaning Nigerians to stand with us in this time of grief and terror. We demand immediate and decisive action to protect our communities and bring these perpetrators to justice.

"May the souls of those we have lost rest in peace, and may God protect those who remain.
