 Kim Jong Un tells North Koreans to 'turn their dogs into soup' during deadly heatwave North Koreans have been urged to eat dog soup as the country struggles to manage a brutal heatwave. A state newspaper in the country published an interview with one of the nation's top doctors that encouraged citizens to start making the highly controversial soup dish. Translated as "sweet meat soup", the article published in Rodong Sinmun describes the dish as offering North Koreans a "highly nutritious" food option that can help counter the symptoms of heat stroke, such as "cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and hyperthyroidism", according to the South China Morning Post. It has also long been believed to cause increased virility in men, as well as boosting immune systems.  Ebonyi Police Arrest Suspects with Human Skulls, Recover Stolen Items


The Ebonyi State Police Command has apprehended a suspect, Ovuta Chigozie, for possessing two human skulls and three locally made firearms. Chigozie, a resident of Okoffia in Ezza South LGA, admitted that the skulls were given to him for use in a spiritual concoction. Authorities are currently tracking the individual linked to the case.


In a separate operation, police officers investigating a stolen tricycle uncovered a criminal syndicate involved in altering the colors of stolen tricycles from neighboring states. The operation led to the arrest of Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba, and Uche Abba.


Three stolen tricycles were recovered, with the suspects confessing to receiving them from accomplices for repainting.


The arrests were confirmed in a statement released on Wednesday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Joshua Ukandu, in Abakaliki.


The police assured the public of their commitment to protecting lives and property, adding that all suspects will be prosecuted after investigations are concluded.
