The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Edward Auta Pama, a prominent opposition figure and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, following a petition reportedly filed against him.
Mr. Pama disclosed the development in a Facebook post on Thursday, stating that the invitation came shortly after he appeared on a programme at Invicta FM, a popular radio station in Kaduna.
“Yesterday, shortly after an appearance on a radio programme at Invicta FM, Kaduna, I received an invitation via telephone from the Department of State Services, DSS, over what they said was a petition against me,” he wrote.
Pama, known for his vocal stance on governance issues in Kaduna State, added that he would honor the invitation: “As a law-abiding citizen, I'm reporting at the DSS Office today at 10.00am to get the details of the petition and make clarifications where necessary.”
As of the time of this report, further details regarding the nature of the petition or the DSS’s response have not been made public.
