 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  RUSSIAN OIL EXEC FALLS FROM 17TH FLOOR TO HIS DEATH 


The vice president of Transneft, 62-year-old Andrei Badalov, fell from the 17th floor of his house to his death in Moscow on Friday.


Transneft is a Russian state-owned oil pipeline operator. 


Badalov lived on the 10th floor of the building, but given that he dropped from the 17th floor, police authorities believe he may have committed suicide.


His may be the 11th mysterious death of a senior oil and gas executive, including top managers at Lukoil, Gazprom, Novatek and others, since the beginning of Russia’s war in Ukraine.


The deceased left a farewell message to his wife who died in 2018 before the incident that claimed his life. His daughter said he seemed emotionally exhausted in recent weeks before the incident.
