The Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, has reaffirmed the importance of unity, sportsmanship and teamwork as he officially flagged off the Onitsha North and Onitsha South Federal Constituency APGA Novelty Friendly Games.
The event brought together members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and candidates for various elective positions in an atmosphere of camaraderie and healthy competition.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Agha Mba described the novelty games as an avenue for strengthening relationships among party members while promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding and teamwork through sports.
He expressed satisfaction with the successful conduct of the event, commending participants for their discipline, unity and respect for one another throughout the competition.

"In the spirit of sportsmanship, there are no victors and no vanquished. We are one APGA family, united by a common vision for progress and development," Agha Mba said.
The commissioner congratulated the organisers, participants, party faithful and candidates for contributing to the success of the event, noting that such initiatives help promote unity, peaceful engagement and grassroots participation.
