 ‎ACTDA Urges Proper Housing Planning to Prevent Slums and Build a Livable Awka ‎By Sylvia Tochukwu-Ngige ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎A house without a plan becomes a slum. A city without planning becomes chaos. That is the core message from the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, as Anambra’s population grows. For ACTDA, housing planning is not just about putting up structures. It is about creating safe, affordable, and dignified communities with roads, water, electricity, drainage, schools, hospitals, markets, and security built in from the start. When developers plan first, they avoid the cost of fixing problems later.   ‎ ‎ ‎ACTDA is the government agency in charge of planning, developing, and regulating the Awka Capital Territory. RAPPER 'DMX' PASSED AWAY TODAY AT THE AGE OF 50-YEARS.{PHOTOS}.#RIP

Earl Simmons, known by his stage name DMX, was an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It's Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release,has died. He was 50 years old.
The inimitable rap icon was hospitalized after suffering an apparent drug overdose and subsequent heart attack on Friday, April 2  at his home in White Plains, New York.
DMX’s family issued the following statement via the press representative
''We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized''. His friend and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian 'Lamar Odom' also broke the news on his social media when he shared this photo above with the caption ''  God please keep your hand on his family #RIPDMX  ''.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.
