No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

A DEER IN PENNSYLVANIA WAS SPRAY PAINTED TO IDENTIFY IT AS A PET. (PHOTO).

A deer in Pennsylvania was spray painted to identify it as a pet. I can only imagine the confusion on a hunter's face if he saw this deer.

Authorities in West Cornwall Township are investigating after a peculiar deer was spotted walking near a local business.

Officers with the Cornwall Borough Police Department were made aware of the special deer on Saturday, November 30th. They reported the deer had the word "PET" spray painted in bright orange on its side.

The deer showed no signs of fear when officers approached and was not even startled by the officers' emergency sirens.

A local game warden says he believes the deer was likely raised as a pet before being released after it grew too large. However, its previous owner was worried it would be an easy target for hunters due to it having no fear of humans. Which the game warden completely understands and respects.

They would like to remind the public that it is illegal to keep a deer as a pet.

They ask for anyone with information regarding this particular deer's history to please call the Pennsylvania Game Commission at 1-833-742-4868. They would prefer for you to keep it alive.
