 Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua Fight Will Take Place In November Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, has disclosed that he expects the heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to take place in November. While initial plans pointed to Wembley Stadium in the UK, discussions over start times for a global audience have heavily linked the fight to a US venue, such as Madison Square Garden in New York. Nigerian Man Sentenced To 7 Years Imprisonment For Attempted Murder Of His Ex-Wife In UK A 26-year-old Nigerian man has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for the attempted murder of his estranged wife in front of their child on a street in Edinburgh, Scotland. Osarenkhoe Atutie previously pled guilty to the violent offence and was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The incident happened on Tuesday, 11 November, 2025 on Duke Street, Leith, where he hugged his daughter before repeatedly stabbing his ex. The High Court in Edinburgh heard that Victory Atutie, 30, sustained 12 injuries including scarring to her face and a collapsed lung. Lord Cubie said it had been a "sustained attack" on a "defenceless victim" and also banned Atutie from contacting her for life.  NAFDAC Alerts Public to Suspected Counterfeit Forxiga Medicines in Circulation The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted the public to the circulation of suspected counterfeit medicinal products mimicking Forxiga (dapagliflozin) in the Nigerian market, warning that their use could pose serious health risks. The agency said the suspected counterfeit products were detected following market surveillance by pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. The disclosure was contained in Public Alert No. 036/2026 posted on NAFDAC’s X handle on Thursday. According to the notice, AstraZeneca notified the agency after identifying products bearing names closely resembling Forxiga® and imitating the company’s brand identity and logo.  ‘We won’t tolerate such’ – City Boy Movement sacks Oyo coordinator for insulting Tinubu, son The City Boy Movement has sacked its Oyo State Coordinator, Ahmed Ajibola, for allegedly insulting President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu and the leadership of the movement. This is contained in a statement by the movement’s Director-General, Francis Shoga, on Thursday. According to the statement, Ajibola’s removal came barely two months after he was issued a formal notice to respond to several allegations contained in a petition submitted against him. “On the 2nd of June, 2026, a notice signed by the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, Ajibola was accused of making abusive, insulting and derogatory remarks against the national leadership of the Movement, including the Director-General,” the statement said.  PRESIDENT TINUBU CONDOLES WITH FORMER MINISTER OF FINANCE, KEMI ADEOSUN OVER HUSBAND'S DEATH  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu extends deep sympathy to former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, over the passing of her husband, Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, 62, on Wednesday.  Statement by Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, says the President condoles with the Adeosun family, friends and business associates over the loss, urging comfort in the legacies of steadfast faith, community service and charity that the devout Christian left behind.  President Tinubu notes the outpouring of testimonies on the life, times and good works of Mr Adeosun, particularly his dedication to supporting the less privileged.  The statement says the President prays that the Almighty God will grant the former minister and the Adeosun family strength and comfort at this very difficult time, and grant the deceased eternal rest.
