 VANDAL CRUSHED TO DEATH UNDER COLLAPSED TRANSMISSION TOWER IN DELTA STATE A suspected vandal has been crushed to death under a collapsed vandalised  transmission tower along the 330kV Ughelli-Benin transmission line in Delta State. The incident was discovered during a line patrol carried out by the Delta Sub-Region, Lines Maintenance Department of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), following the tripping of the line on earth fault on the Ughelli - Benin 330kV Transmission line. A statement by the TCN indicates that the patrol team traced the fault to Tower 101, which had collapsed. The body of the suspected vandal was found crushed between the tower members. Tower 101 on the adjacent Ughelli - Sapele 330kV  transmission line had also been vandalized.

 Man kills parents before taking own life in Madison County murder-suicide, deputies say  A 35-year-old man fatally shot his parents before taking his own life at their home in Madison County, New York, authorities said. Steve M. Sislo, 76, and Donna M. Walker-Sislo, 72, were found dead Friday morning at their home on McCormick Road in the town of Madison. Their son, Justin Sislo, was also found dead inside the residence. Deputies were sent to the home shortly after 9 a.m. for a welfare check after the couple's other son, Jordan, called 911. He told dispatchers he had not heard from his parents or brother since Monday. When the first deputy arrived, they detected a strong odor of propane and could hear gas escaping from inside the home. Looking through a window, the deputy saw two deceased adults. Deputies entered the residence and discovered a third person who was also dead. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
