The United States Embassy in Abuja has reopened its newly redesigned American Centre at the Embassy Chancery, featuring modern learning and innovation facilities to strengthen US–Nigeria relations.
U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Richard M. Mills, Jr., said the revitalised centre will serve as a hub for education, creativity and professional development, offering programmes in educational advising, entrepreneurship and digital literacy.
The centre now includes upgraded technology, flexible learning spaces and colourful murals celebrating American history, innovation and shared democratic values.
Country Public Diplomacy Counsellor, Lee McManis, noted that the centre joins 29 other American Spaces across Nigeria, helping to deepen people-to-people ties between both countries.
The Embassy said the reopening shows its continued commitment to education, cultural exchange and capacity building for Nigerians.
