 Set designer Mary Kate Golding found dead in Queens home as police investigate possible murder-suicide Police are investigating the deaths of television set designer Mary Kate Golding and her husband after the 34-year-old was found fatally stabbed inside her Queens home. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded shortly after midnight on Tuesday, July 21, to a residence in Astoria, where they found Golding with a fatal stab wound to her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, at about 6:39 a.m., officers responded to a separate 911 call reporting an unconscious person near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard. Police found an unresponsive man in the park, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An NYPD source identified the man as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding's husband.  LASTMA DECORATES PERMANENT SECRETARY OF WATERFRONT AS SPECIAL TRAFFIC MAYOR


The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Esv. Wasiu Adebayo Olayinka was today decorated as a Special Traffic Mayor by the Lagos State Traffic Management  Authority (LASTMA).


The event, which took place in his office, was conducted by the Team Lead of the Traffic Advocacy and Special Mayor Department, LASTMA, Mr. Jimmy Awoyemi, in the presence of other officials, including the management team of the Ministry. 


Mr. Awoyemi later explained what is expected of the new traffic Mayor, especially using his status and office to support the Agency in improving the traffic situation across the State.


The Permanent Secretary, speaking after his decoration, appreciated the good work Lastma is doing,g commending the Ministry of Transportation and its leadership for the thoughtful initiative. He promised to carry out his duties as a Special Traffic Mayor to the best of his ability and join hands with traffic officials to improve the traffic situation in Lagos State. 


According to him, “The idea behind the initiative is a great one which will help reduce traffic infractions on the road and ensure traffic flow without encumbrances, especially with the help of the Mayors. It will also help in ensuring smooth and efficient flow of traffic within and across the Lagos State Metropolis”.
