MAN ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGED BURGLARY AND CAR THEFT AT KIM KARDASHIAN’S CALIFORNIA PROPERTY. (PHOTO).

Man arrested after alleged burglary and car theft at Kim Kardashian’s California property A 27-year-old man was arrested Sunday after allegedly burglarizing a home owned by Kim Kardashian in Hidden Hills, California, and stealing a vehicle, authorities said. Deputies responded to the gated community near the San Fernando Valley around 3:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a burglary. The home is owned by Kardashian but is not her primary residence and is currently undergoing renovations. The stolen vehicle reportedly belonged to a member of Kardashian’s staff. Neither Kardashian nor her children were at the property when the incident occurred. Investigators reportedly received information that a man had been seen placing several items into a vehicle at the residence. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into Los Angeles County Jail on suspicion of burglary. The investigation remains ongoing. Kardashian, 45, has not publicly commented on the incident.  TROOPS NEUTRALIZE BANDITS’ AMBUSH, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE IN PLATEAU Troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE in Plateau state have recorded another operational success after foiling an ambush by suspected bandits during a follow-up operation in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The operation was launched following the confession of a suspected bandit who was arrested and interrogated by troops. Acting on the intelligence, troops escorted the suspect to Nwur Village to recover his hidden weapon. While approaching the suspected hideout, the troops came under attack from members of the criminal syndicate. The troops responded with overwhelming firepower, neutralising one of the attackers as well as the arrested suspect who was caught in the ensuing firefight.  DSS RELEASES CARPENTER MARWANA CLEARED OF TERROR LINKS; PAYS N3 MILLION INITIAL COMPENSATION The Department of State Services, DSS, has released a carpenter, Mustapha Marwana after investigations cleared him of links to terrorist activities. Marwana, a native of Katsina, was arrested in connection with the abduction and killing of school pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. A DSS investigation panel found no evidence linking him to the membership, financing, logistics or operations of the Ansaru terrorist group. Following the findings, DSS Director-General, Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, ordered his immediate release and approved an initial three-million-naira compensation to support his reintegration and livelihood. Marwana was released to his lawyer, Oghene Forgive, and expressed appreciation to the DSS leadership for what he described as a humane intervention.  A 15-year-old boy shot and k*lled a man who was actively assaulting a female victim in Dallas, Texas.  There are a lot of unknown factors to this incident at this time. What is known is that all parties involved knew one another. However, the exact nature of their relationships has not been disclosed. What we do know is that a 15-year-old boy was forced to grow up way too fast on the morning of August 9th. According to authorities, after investigating the incident, 33-year-old Adrian Ortiz was carrying out a violent attack when the teen intervened. Reports state that Ortiz was punching and choking the victim. The 15-year-old boy shot Ortiz while he was carrying out the attack. It is not known how long the attack had been going on prior to the 15-year-old shooting Ortiz.  Dallas PD arrived at the residence on the 3500 block of North Buckner Boulevard at 9:11 a.m. and discovered Ortiz suffering from a gunshot wound.  NIGERIAN ARMY-LED JOINT SECURITY TEAM RESCUES 16 KIDNAP VICTIMS IN KOGI Troops of the Nigerian Army, working in close collaboration with personnel of the Nigerian Navy, the Nigeria Police Force, local vigilantes and hunters, have successfully rescued all 16 persons abducted by suspected kidnappers during a coordinated search and rescue operation in Kogi State. The victims were kidnapped on Sunday 9 August 2026 when armed criminals attacked commuters along the Ojuwo–Ajengo–Memarebo and Ojiwo–Itobe roads in Ofu Local Government Area of the state.  Cultists Kill 3 in Rivalry  Clash In Ilesa, Osun Police Deploy Tactical Team Cultists in rivalry clash, between members of the Aiye and Eiye confraternity in Imo district, Ilesa, Osun State, killed 3 persons. The Police, in swift response, deployed tactical team to the community.  The Osun State Police Command disclosed that operatives found 4 expended cartridges and 2 Android mobile phones at the scene of the violence.  Violence Crime Response Unit and other tactical operatives were deployed to the scene of violence to forestall escalation of the clash, on the order of the Commissioner of Police in charge of the 2026 Osun Governorship Election, Samuel  Etaifo.  Governor Mbah Commends Security Forces Over Arrest Of 3 Suspects Of Affa Church Kidnap Gang Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has commended intelligence and security agencies in the state for nabbing three suspected members of a notorious kidnap gang responsible for the August 2, 2026 attack on St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Inoyi-Affa, in Udi LGA of the state. A joint operation by the Department of State Services (DSS), the Army, Police, Enugu State Forest Guard, and others, led to a gun battle with the suspected kidnappers.  EFCC Arrests one for Impersonating EFCC Operatives in Maiduguri    Operatives of the Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested one Nuhu Dahiru for impersonation and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of  N3,000,000.00 (Three Million Naira). The suspect was arrested in Tashan Bama, along Bama Road, Maiduguri, Borno State, following  credible intelligence indicating that he had been parading himself as an officer of the EFCC, and thereby defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.
