A 15-YEAR-OLD GEORGIA GIRL ENDURED A NIGHTMARE SCENARIO WHEN A MAN SMASHED THROUGH A SHARED WALL AND VICIOUSLY ATTACKED HER.(PHOTOS).

 A 15-year-old Georgia girl endured a nightmare scenario when a man smashed through a shared wall and viciously attacked her.


The unbelievably scary attack was carried out at 10 p.m. on August 4th. On that evening, a 15-year-old was watching two young children inside of an apartment on the 1000 block of Summit Street in Gainesville.


As the 15-year-old passed time while watching a 5-year-old and 7-year-old, she had no idea that danger lurked next door. The calm evening erupted into chaos as 29-year-old Obed Reyes busted out the drywall on a shared wall and inside of a closet.


The victim was taken completely by surprise as Obed charged towards her, seemingly appearing from nowhere. Obed was on her before she could react, grabbing her by the hair and punching the young girl. During the initial onslaught, the girl was able to fight back enough to make space and flee. 


She sprinted into the breezeway with Obed right behind. Unfortunately, he quickly caught her and continued the physical @ssault. Because she was able to escape the confined apartment the attack drew the attention of neighbors who called 911.


Emergency dispatchers received calls reporting a man dragging a young girl by the hair and repeatedly punching her as she screamed for help.  Obed was also threatening to r*** the 15-year-old during the entire ordeal.


Officers arrived on scene so quickly that they witnessed the attack being carried out. They ran from their vehicles and intervened, saving the 15-year-old girl and subduing Obed. 


Obed Reyes was booked into the Hall County Jail. He is being charged with kidnapping, aggravated @ssault, burglary, criminal attempt, and two counts of cruelty to children.


Authorities say that although Obed lived in the same apartment complex the victim did not know him.

Authorities have not released additional information on the incident or the 15-year-old girl's condition following the attack. We do hope she will be alright.
