 Nevada judge dismisses case against six Trump fake electors accused of trying to overturn 2020 election  A Nevada judge has dismissed the yearslong criminal case against six Republicans accused of submitting false documents claiming Donald Trump won Nevada’s 2020 presidential election, delivering another setback to efforts to prosecute fake electors involved in the effort to keep Trump in office after his defeat to Joe Biden. Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford’s office charged the six Republicans with forgery and offering a false instrument for filing or record. All six pleaded not guilty, and prosecutors plan to appeal the dismissal. The defendants included Michael McDonald, chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, and Jesse Law, the former chairman of the Clark County Republican Party.  HOUSE OF REPS. SPEAKER ABBAS TASKS PBAT DOOR-TO-DOOR MOVEMENT ON ISSUE-BASE CAMPAIGN 


Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has called on the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to base its campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid on verifiable achievements and facts.


He stated this when he hosted the National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, and his delegation at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.


The Speaker urged the group to take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda directly to Nigerians across the 36 states and the FCT, emphasising that the administration’s performance over the last three years speaks for itself.


He also said the National Assembly remains committed to supporting policies that deliver tangible benefits to citizens and amplifying the gains recorded since 2023.


The Speaker further stressed the need for continuity in governance, noting that reversing the reforms of the present administration would undermine the sacrifices made by Nigerians.
