   'Blue Bloods' star Jennifer Esposito says she walked away from Hollywood after years of rejection and 'abuse' Jennifer Esposito recently opened up about the pressures she faced as a young actress, recalling how constant scrutiny and unrealistic expectations left her feeling anxious and defeated.  She described being criticized for minor things, like not greeting producers early in the morning, while also being discouraged from speaking out about unsafe or abusive situations.  Over time, she realized that no matter what she did, it never felt like the right step, and the double standards between men and women in the industry only deepened her frustration. Imo Government Bans Street Trading, Hawking on Major Owerri Roads


The Imo State Government has banned street trading, hawking, illegal roadside structures, and the loading and offloading of goods along major roads within the state capital, Owerri.


The affected roads are Rotobi, Royce, and Douglas, all located in the heart of the city. The directive was contained in a joint press statement issued by the General Manager of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Franklin Nkem Nzewodo, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Monitoring and Compliance, Chinasa Nwaneri.


According to the officials, trading activities along these major roads contribute to traffic obstruction, which sometimes leads to accidents. They stressed that Eke Ukwu Owerri Market, Relief Market, Cluster International Market, and Egbeada International Market remain the designated markets within Owerri Municipal, noting that the mentioned roads are not approved trading locations.


The directive also prohibits heavy-duty trucks, lorries, and other vehicles from using the affected roads as loading, unloading, or offloading points.


“Traders, business operators, truck owners, drivers, and other affected persons have been directed to relocate their activities to approved markets, designated trading areas, and lawful loading points,” the government said.


Authorities further warned that continued violation of the directive could attract enforcement measures, including arrest, prosecution, fines, confiscation, and the removal or demolition of illegal structures.
