Kansas driver’s license law puts some transgender residents in ID limbo A new Kansas law has effectively invalidated the driver’s licenses and other government-issued documents of transgender residents, leaving many in legal and personal limbo. Senate Bill 244, which went into effect immediately after the legislature overrode Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto, requires that the gender listed on a driver’s license align with the state’s binary definition of male and female. The law also directs the state registrar to “correct” birth certificates that do not match these definitions. Unlike similar restrictions in other states, Kansas’ law retroactively invalidates previously issued documents. Legal advocates warn that the law threatens the privacy and safety of transgender residents, forcing them to disclose their gender identity in situations ranging from employment applications to renting property or opening bank accounts. Image result for miss virginity 2016                         Yesterday saturday Dolapo Makanjuola was crowned the ''Queen of the Virgins'' at the 2017 Miss Virginity beauty pageant held inside the headquarters of Surulere LGA of Lagos.She emerged winner out of 35 contestants.Anexcited Makanjuola said she intends being a virgin until she's ripe for marriage.No gynaecological test was conducted to ascertain their virginity,each of them only answered questions mostly on current affairs.Adunni Adediran,the organiser,said the contest  was an avenue to propagate the importance to women keeping their virginity till their wedding night.She said she was ''called to order'' by the Lagos State Ministry of Education,forcing her to stop the practice of bringing a gynaecologist to confirm the virginity of prospective contestants.''We used to have a gynecologist who examines the girls before the event,but the ministry of education invited me and told me they disliked the attitude of a man looking at the girls privacy and I was depressed that day.But was it not better for one man,a federal gynaecologist in a twinkle of an eye,to check if they were virgins or not,than the girls selling themselves from one bed to another bed?'' Ms. Adediran said.Well let me ask don't we have female gynecologist in Nigeria or Lagos?.To me without that virginity test,that contest can't be called a virginity contest.More more photos below.
