 Hajj 2025: Ogun Govt Appoints Apelogun as Amirul Hajj, Announces Welfare Committee Members The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Board has announced the appointment of Prince Adebayo Apelogun, the National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), as the Amirul Hajj for the 2025 Hajj exercise. He will lead a 14-member ad-hoc welfare committee tasked with facilitating a smooth and successful pilgrimage to the Holy Land for the state’s contingent. Prince Apelogun, who also holds the revered titles of Asiwaju Adinni of Ogun State and Baba Adinni of Remo, will lead the committee, with Shaekh Ishaq Olorungbebe serving as chairman. 32 YAHOO YAHOO BOYS ARRESTED YESTERDAY BY THE EFCC IN OGUN STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 arrested 32 suspected internet fraudsters, better known as "Yahoo-Yahoo Boys."
The suspects were arrested at Liberty Estate, Laderin area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital in an early morning sting operation.
Ranging between the ages of 15 and 39 years, the suspects were taken by surprise when EFCC operatives swooped on them at one of their havens in the estate.
Fourteen of them claimed to be undergraduates, while 18 others said they are self-employed in various vocations.
Their arrest was sequel to a petition detailing their alleged fraudulent activities, including internet fraud through which they obtain illicit funds from unsuspecting victims.
Items recovered from them include six exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones, several documents containing false pretences and fetish objects.The suspects are already helping operatives of the Commission with useful information.
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
