  Stakeholders Demand Completion of Jos Inland Dry Port After 19-Year Delay Stakeholders in the North Central region have renewed calls for the completion of the Jos Inland Container Depot (JICD), 19 years after its inauguration. At a forum in Jos, industry players decried the project's stalled progress—now less than 40% complete—despite a N2.2 billion state buyout in 2021. They cited job losses, poor agricultural exports, and the absence of rail connectivity as major setbacks. The Nigerian Shippers Council assured that the federal and state governments are collaborating to secure capable investors, while Plateau officials pledged support to revive the long-delayed project.

  Image result for nollywood actor dies    One week after the sad demise of Nollywood director and movie producer, Ifeanyi Onyeabor, Nollywood has been thrown into mourning again after the sudden death of another actor, Prince Dammy Eke.
According to reports, Prince Eke who was one of the sons of the Late Eze Gbaka Gbaka of Woji, died April 28th 2019. He was said to have slumped while having drinks with his friends in a sit out bar.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.His friends have taken to social media to pay their tributes to him.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
