 Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein turns herself in over alleged interception of ex-husband’s communications “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein turned herself in to Miami authorities after being accused of unlawfully intercepting communications involving her ex-husband, according to her attorney. She was booked and assigned a $5,000 bond, though her legal team says she will be released on her own recognizance. Her attorney argued the case stems from a contentious divorce dispute and should not be handled in criminal court. Court records show Hochstein and her former boyfriend, Jody Glidden, are each facing a felony charge tied to the alleged interception of oral communications involving her ex-husband, plastic surgeon Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein. Glidden was previously arrested, posted bond, and pleaded not guilty while requesting additional time to file legal motions, including a possible dismissal and a jury trial. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS AMB. ISMAIL ABBA YUSUF CHAIRMAN OF NAHCON


President Bola Tinubu has nominated Amb. Ismail Abba Yusuf as the new Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON). 


The appointment is subject to the Senate's approval in accordance with the provisions of section 3(2) of the NAHCON Act, 2006.


President Tinubu sent a letter today to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, requesting the expeditious confirmation of Ambassador Yusuf to replace Professor Abdullahi Usman, who resigned this week, after about 14 months in the post. 


Ambassador Yusuf is a seasoned Nigerian career diplomat who served as the Nigerian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Türkiye from 2021 to 2024.
