Florida couple keeps permanent custody of baby after IVF mix-up agreement  A Florida couple at the center of an in vitro fertilization (IVF) error will retain permanent custody of the daughter they raised from birth following a formal agreement reached with the child’s biological parents. Tiffany Score and Steven Mills shared the resolution publicly on social media, expressing profound relief and gratitude. The resolution follows an emotionally trying period that began roughly two months ago when the couple successfully identified the genetic parents of their daughter, Shea.  CONGOLESE FA PRESIDENT GETS LIFE SENTENCE FOR EMBEZZLEMENT

The president of the Congolese Football Federation, Jean‑Guy Blaise Mayolas, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted in a major embezzlement and corruption case that has shaken football administration in the Central African country.

Mayolas, who heads the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFOOT), was found guilty of several offences including money laundering, embezzlement and document forgery following a lengthy investigation into the federation’s finances.

Prosecutors said the case centred on the alleged diversion of about $1.3 million in funds provided by FIFA, including nearly $500,000 intended to support the country’s women’s national football team. Investigators claimed the funds were siphoned through a network of shell companies rather than used for football development.

According to court documents, the ruling was delivered after an eight-month investigation that examined financial records, bank transactions and internal administrative processes within the football federation.

In a dramatic twist, the court also handed life sentences to Mayolas’ wife and son, who were found to have participated in the scheme. Other senior FECOFOOT officials, including the federation’s secretary-general and treasurer, received five-year prison terms for their roles in the financial irregularities.

Mayolas, who became FECOFOOT president in 2018, was not present in court when the verdict was delivered. The ruling has triggered shock across the football community and reignited debate over governance and financial accountability in African football administrations.
