 Tim Curry’s “Rocky Horror” legacy honoured on Broadway as cast leads tribute after his death Tim Curry’s legacy as Dr. Frank-N-Furter was honoured on Broadway Wednesday night, with the cast of “The Rocky Horror Show” dedicating their curtain call to the late actor. Curry, who d!ed Tuesday at 80, originated the role of Frank-N-Furter in both the 1973 London stage production and the 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Paul Soileau, who currently plays Frank on Broadway, used the curtain call to remember the actor who first brought the character to life. “But if you trace it all back, 53 years ago there’s one home and one vessel, one mothership that Frank-N-Furter can actually call home. Court Jails Fraudster Five Years for $1.6m Cryptocurrency Fraud The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has secured the conviction and sentencing of Benjamin Ikaa before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Port Harcourt - Aba railway project completed, train services start soon - NRC The Federal Government announced on Wednesday that it has completed the 63-kilometre Port Harcourt – Aba railway project. The Port Harcourt-Aba project is part of the larger Port Harcourt-Maiduguri railroad project initiated by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Mr Fidet Okhiria, Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), revealed this information while leading a delegation to inspect the project. He said train services would commence in a few months as soon as the finishing touches are completed on the tracks. “The project from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri is not yet completed. Tupac's suspected killer gets $750k bail Former Los Angeles-area gang leader Duane “Keffe D” Davis, suspected to have killed the late US rapper, Tupac Shakur, has been granted a $750,000 bail. Keffe D was arrested in September last year and was charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon. Davis’ arrest came two months after Las Vegas police raided his wife’s home in neighbouring Henderson. Documents said police were looking for items “concerning the murder of Tupac”. Davis appeared before the court in Las Vegas on Tuesday for a hearing on his potential release on bail pending his criminal trial. His legal team argued that their client was not a danger to society; neither was he a flight risk if they would agree for him to be bailed before the main trial. ‘Autopsy report, son’s DNA test delaying Mohbad’s burial’ – Singer’s dad Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has said the remains of the singer will not be laid to rest until the autopsy result is released and a DNA test is conducted on his grandson, Liam. He assured that once the two issues are sorted out, Mohbad’s body will be reburied. Aloba, who spoke in a recent interview with TVC News, said he needs a DNA test result to be certain about his grandson’s paternity because he doesn’t know to whom his placenta was given.
