 Whoopi Goldberg recently addressed an old clip from The View during a February 18, 2026 episode, after it resurfaced in Netflix's documentary Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model.  The moment shows her reacting with laughter to a 2010 America's Next Top Model Cycle 14 runway challenge where contestant Alexandra Underwood was knocked down by a large swinging pendulum during a walk. In her comments, Whoopi expressed regret for laughing at the mishap, noting it involved a real person and acknowledging the incident's impact. She described it as one of the funniest things she'd seen but added an apology to Alexandra Underwood while keeping her usual humorous tone. As AIG Intensifies Advocacy on “Know Your Numbers” Health Campaign


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc mnips PhD, today 19th February 2026, received on behalf of officers and men of the Command, the Pioneer Force Medical Director, Nkechi Eze BDS MPH, fspsp Assistant Inspector-General of Police, during her official tour of all Police medical facilities in the State.


The CP warmly welcomed the AIG and her entourage, describing the visit as timely and significant in strengthening healthcare delivery within the Command. He expressed appreciation for the Force Medical Directorate’s commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Police personnel.


In her remarks, AIG Dr. Nkechi Eze reiterated the importance of the recently launched “Know Your Numbers” campaign within the Force. The initiative is aimed at encouraging officers and men to regularly monitor their health status, particularly key indicators such as blood pressure blood, glucose levels, cholesterol and other vital signs in order to prevent avoidable health complications. She also used the opportunity to assess the state of Police medical facilities across the Command.


The AIG further proposed the designation of a specific day for the re-registration of officers and men under the National Health Insurance Scheme. She urged all personnel to register with the Police Hospital to enable the Force effectively monitor their health status and provide timely medical intervention when necessary.


The Police facilities visited include: the Police Clinic at the Central Police Station and Area Command Awka respectively, as well as the Police Officers Wives Association Skill Acquisition Centre Ukpo-Dunukofia where training is ongoing for Members of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) and few selected women in the State.


The Anambra State Police Command remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote the welfare, fitness, and operational readiness of its personnel.
